When writing to us, please avoid subject lines such as “Hi”, “Please!”, “<blank>”, or “Help!” - Please be more descriptive so your mail doesn’t look like “junk mail”.
Adding our email addresses to you Address Book may help keep our messages from ending up in your Junk Mail Folder ( info@myspclstitches.com , postmaster@myspclstitches.com and info@myspclstitches.com ).
Our Email addresses, in case we are not getting your messages, are the three above and order@myspclstitches.com .
My Special Stitches does not normally send any e-mails with attachments. Such e-mails would only be sent by prior arrangement.
If you receive an unsolicited e-mail with an attachment which appears to have come from us please delete it immediately. It was not sent by My Special Stitches.
E-Mail fraud has been rampant lately. The criminal uses e-mail addresses from reputable companies or individuals to send virus laden, obscene or other obnoxious mail to their victims.
“Phishing” is also common. Generally, examine links within emails before clicking them to make sure they go where you'd expect. Do not open attachments from untrusted senders and question those from trusted ones.
Always suspect e-mails that look like they come from financial or retail institutions requesting account or personal information.
Contact the institution another way and don’t use the links in the e-mail.
Report fraud attempts to the institutions. PayPal fraud department is at : spoof@paypal.com , for instance. IRS fraud emails go to phishing@irs.gov .
Always forward fraud messages ‘inline’ if you can (see IRS.GOV for instructions)
We run an up-to-date e-mail virus scanner to ensure the e-mails WE send are virus free.
Missing E-mails:
Internet E-mail messages are not sent using a reliable protocol. Luckily, the Internet is fairly reliable most of the time. However, for this reason, e-mails sometimes do not reach their intended destination.
If you do not hear from us in a timely fashion please try to contact us again.
Additional reasons emails don’t get through lately are mail server Domain security locks and Junk Filters
Domain security locks are placed by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to stop junk mail sources believed to come from another Domain.
Junk Filters are a function of either your Email Service or your Email Software (ISP Webmail, MS Outlook, Mulberry, Thunderbird, MS Outlook Express, . . . .). Usually there will be a Junk Mail Folder where the messages end up. Adding us to your Address Book may help.
E-mail links on our sites assume your PC has a default e-mail client which is properly set up.
